More Exciting News---

Tim just got his board scores back (the big test that he took 2-1/2 weeks ago) and he....

Passed! Wahooo.... He scored above average in all the sections except Oral Surgery. Good work Tim.

11 months

My little girl is growing up so fast! Macy turned 11 months old today. Here is a little bit about her:

She loves to stand up to things and walk holding your hands. She doesn't like to let go so it may be a little while before she is walking on her own.

She takes two good naps a day.

She still loves the bath tub. Perhaps her favorite time of the day.

She likes to eat real food. Strawberries are her favorite and she eats cheerios by the handful but macaroni and cheese comes in close second.

She has to have whatever I have whether it is the remote control, computer, cell phone, or car keys.

She is very talkative and loves to laugh. She thinks its hilarious if you dance like a crazy person in front of her.

She has to have her pacifier all the time now. (It started almost two months ago.)
She has seven teeth.
She is to tall for size 12 month pants and onesies are way out of the question.

Halloween Galore

Our halloween adventures kept us busy all week:

Pumpkin carving with Roas and Saunders has been a four year tradition. Like always, it involved staying up late waiting for Tyler to finish his jack-0-lantern masterpiece. It was Janet's (Calie's Mom) first halloween, but she was a natural carver, listening to all of the "cardinal rules" that Tim made up for her (size of pumpkin's opening must be larger that your fist... detailed cuts must be angled to let out the light).

Since I'm part of the party-planning committee at church, I got to spend most of Friday putting up spider webs and making party favors. Tim and Macy joined the ward party later in their punker costumes and went trunk-or-treating.

The zoo had a Halloween Bash. We got the kids in their costumes and met up with Doty's and Mecham's for some trick or treating fun with the animals.

On Saturday we had a Halloween party at Roa's house with all the dental school couples (and kids of course). We got there a bit early to take Macy trick-or-treating (another haloween first). All the kids were super cute in their costumes, but the Tim/Macy Punker costumes were the best (they each won a best costume award). They had matching black moehawks, torn-up black clothes, dark emo eyes (I can't believe Macy let him put the eye-liner on), and Tim even had a lip ring. I was pretty excited about my costume as well: I pieced together my Flapper costume from friends, Goodwill, and a few homemade nick-nacks.

Matthew & Macy

While we were in Boise for my mom's birthday this past weekend, Macy and I got to meet my cousin's newest addition to his family. Although, the pictures we got weren't the cutest, it was fun to see them play together!

Suzie's 50th Birthday Bash!

My mom turned the BIG 50 this year. To help her celebrate, Courtney, Ashley, Macy, and I came up for the festivities. Even though, we got our lives threatened if we threw her a party, we decided to risk it and do one anyways. It was great to see her be spoiled for one a day! Happy Birthday Mom!

Another great adventure that took up most of our weekend was the District III Marching Band competition (the biggest competition in Idaho). As a lot of the girls in our family, the middle one of the family, Kaytlen, is in Color Guard (one of the captain none the less). We had a blast going to her competition. Their show was awesome with the music from Carmen (The Opera). Kaytlen was amazing with all of her solos and you can't help by smile when you see her preform! They did great and took 3rd place in their category and 3rd place overall in the competition. Good job Kaytlen! We love you!

Hurray, Hurray, Hurray!

I just got off the phone with my sister, Ashley and got the best news of the day! She got into the nursing program at BYU! Wahoo! Good Job Ashie.

Gap Casting Call

About a week ago, Courtney and I were shopping at Baby Gap when one of the sales associates handed me a flyer saying that I should enter Macy into this casting call-- You never know she could become the next Gap Baby she said. So, after a long debate with myself about doing it or not, I decided what could it hurt. Jehanne was a sweetheart and took these wonderful pictures but I totally think she could win!

Go to: http://family.go.com/gapcastingcall/entries/schmidttb/ and vote for Macy to be the Fan Favorite! You can vote once a day until November 27th.

Bi-Zi Zimmerman's Extravaganza

This was the most complete Pumpkin Patch Imaginable. We spent three hours going through all the activities and I don't know who had more fun, the adults or Macy Face. It was the perfect Halloween adventure:

Going through the Macy size Hay Maze.

Macy wasn't so sure about the hay maze.

Who's tractor is biggest? Daddy's, Macy's, or Uncle Mike's?

Daddy and Macy posing by the Hay Pyramid.
What is a party without a pyramid to climb?

Macy loved the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch (and the 80 year old tractor driver got a kick out of watching her.)

Tim had to find the biggest pumpkin out there. He calls it the Bohemith.

Despite a little rain storm, we found the best pumpkins in the field. Even Macy got her little one.

We had a blast in the corn maze. Although the boys won, (I think they cheated) we still had an amazing time treading through the mud.

You would think a corn maze wouldn't be scary-- Well, this sign states otherwise. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!

The highlight for the boys was the Pumpkin Launch. They tried eight times a piece to get the pumpkin into the barrel in the field with no success.

Macy's highlight was the corn filled sand box. It was awesome! Who knew that corn could be so much fun.

As if there wasn't enough activities already, we also enjoyed the petting zoo. Filled with pigs, rabbits, sheeps, goats, and even a donkey.

Thank you Mr. Zimmerman for making all of our Halloween Dreams come true!

Three Little Monkeys

Grammie Rosalyn sent these cute pajamas and we just had to have a picture of the kiddos. Aren't they adorable? (Well, at least Weston had a smile for the camera- Macy and Elliot not as much.) Thanks Grammie!
No, they weren't jumping on bed but give them a few months and I'm sure that they will be.

Boards Part II

After months and months of studying (Macy is always a good study companion)
Tim is taking his last written Boards today (and tomorrow). It is a nasty two day test. Good luck!

Now that Tim is (almost) done with his boards, he can start interviewing for jobs. As of now, our top choices are Moses Lake, Washington (home of 20,000 people just north of Tri-Cities, Washington) and Redding, California (home of 100,000 people in Northern California). It should an exciting next few months as we visit these locations and decide which is the best! I'm hoping that we can have a set place by the end of the year.
