Moving: Part 2

After spending the last day packing... The movers came in. It took three guys almost five hours to load the truck. Our stuff first went into the uhaul (they couldn't fit the big truck back in our complex) and then got shuttled into

the huge 51 footer. Even though the packers had counted over 100 boxes, the movers hauled out over 200 items. It was amazing how much stuff we actually fit into that two bedroom apartment.

After the movers took off with our stuff, we were left with:

Macy watching sesame street on the laptop...

eating Qdoba in the park while listening to the Cherry Poppin Daddies...

and had a sleepover in the living room (Connor even stayed over with us for his first sleepover).

After three days of camping out in our old apartment, the time came to say Good Bye to Portland. It was harder than I expected to leave our friends and lives that we'd established over the last four years but at the same time we're excited to be able to start again.
