Coronado 2013

Living in Arizona definitely has it's perks as driving to California is a short six hour drive and we've spent many a vacations there already.  This time we drove to San Diego to join Tim's parents, Matt & Becca, and David at the beach for a few days.

We ate a new restaurant and had a delicious chocolate shake... made better only by sharing it with my girls.
The girls and I spent another day with Rosalyn after Tim and Jim went home before we flew to Boise.  We spent some time at the outlet mall and danced on the rocks at the beach.  The girls love the ocean.

Tim has become quite the sand castle maker and was really proud of his dolphin!

These two could play for hours in the sand and came home each night covered from head to toe in sand.

Tim, Dave, and Matt all braved the cold water to do a little boogie boarding.  The girls and I spent more time on the sand.  The water was a bit too cold for our blood.

We like to visit the temple whenever we are out of town and this time we took the girls to the San Diego Temple. Macy liked to call it the Castle Temple.
Syd and Grammy played hide and seek and climbed over all of the ledges.

More and more beach and sand.

And one of our classics everytime is Miguel's Mexican food.  Syd was in love with the jalapeno cheese sauce and would use the chip as a spoon and shoveled it into her mouth.  The funny thing is that within minutes of deciding she was done, she curled up on my lap and was asleep in seconds.
