Papa's Visit

Papa Arlin came to visit us on his way back from San Francisco for a business trip.  We were so excited to show him our new house and to be able to do a bunch of projects.  We love have a handy man around. 

Friday night, we went to dinner at Maggiano's to celebrate Brittany's birthday and then spent all day Saturday fixing up our house. 

 First we made a box for our washer and dryer to sit on, instead of the floor... It's amazing the difference it makes when doing laundry and not having to sit on the floor to put in a load or two. And as a last minute decision we changed the cupboard above our ovens to have some vertical shelves instead of horizontal.  Hurray for home improvements. 

Papa joined us for church on Sunday and the girls loved it so much that they decided to walk home from church.  

We're so glad that Papa Arlin came to see us and party with us for a few days!
