Macy's First Road Trip!

Spur of the moment, Tim and I decided to go to Boise for the long weekend. Although a bit scary as we didn't know how Macy would do in the car, we decided that we were up for the challenge. Packing the car and getting out of town took a bit longer with a baby but soon Macy and I picked up Tim from school. Surprisingly Macy is a great car travler. She slept the whole way there, waking up just a mile from my parents house. A whole 7 hours, it was amazing. Grandma was even up waiting for us when we arrived. Thank goodness since Macy wanted to play. Finally, around 3:00 a.m. we made it to bed.

Our weekend was filled with many adventures from swimming at the YMCA to sledding at the new hill up in Garden Valley and of course you can't forget Texas Roadhouse (One of Tim's favorites). Macy had a blast. I should have known that since she enjoys her bath so much that she would LOVE the swimming pool even more. And although it is hard to tell who was having more fun, Tim and Macy were both all smiles.

As always, anywhere we go there are always new people for Macy to meet. This time around she got to spend some quality time with Great Grandma and Grandpa Jones. Of course, they got priority when they were around for holding Macy. It is always a fight over who gets to hold her next and she loves all the attention.

Macy isn't the only one who loves play time with daddy. My brothers and sisters also love Tim Time. In fact, they spent a few hours working on a fun little magnetic roller coaster my bro's got for Christmas. Good Times! :)
