Status Report:

In the last few weeks we have been doing a bunch of nothing. Macy started swimming lessons. She's not so sure about it (which is surprising because she usually loves water) but I think she is having some stranger anxiety. I guess we need to find a good babysitter and start leaving her more. It's sad she cries through all of nursey too. :( Macy is learning to jump off the side, float on her stomach and back, and kick her feet. She's getting pretty good too.

The yard has needed a little TLC and Tim and I have spent many hours out there pulling weeds, planting flowers, and setting up a little tree ring.

Parker has been staying with us since we came back from our month long vacation. Needless to say we are a bit boring for him but he has been enjoying his time reading books, playing video games, and watching many, many movies. It's been fun showing him around our little town and taking him to eat at our favorite(Michaels Bistro) and least favorite place (we found out-- After hearing many reviews on Chico's we decided to try it for ourselves. It is very disgusting pizza with so many toppings that they all fall off. Yuck!).

Parker and I also spent a little time at the lake with some of our new friends. They have a nice little sandy beach and pretty clear water. It was great and even better free!

We set up a swimming pool for Macy in the backyard.

Overall, it's been good to be home and I feel we are settling in quite nicely here.
