Dutch Oven Cooking

For family home evening last night, we did a little dutch oven cooking with our friends.

 

After creating a little cove to help protect our coals from the wind and adding a lot of gasoline to get the coals going, our food just wasn't cooking. Let's say it was a great attempt on the boy's part but the wind was just too great and we ended up finishing our food in the oven.

It was still fun and we (Us, Cardon's, Winks, and Susan Baker) had a great time chilling with the kiddos and hopefully next time the weather will cooperate more  with us.
