Potty Time

After months of thinking about potty training Macy, we finally bit the bullet on Wednesday and stuck with it. Wednesday was a little rough with a couple accidents (but given that it was her first day, it's understandable). We haven't tried to monitor the night-time and have given her special nighttime panties (pull-ups) to wear for now but I feel like she is learning to conquer the days. She is still learning to tell us when she needs to go but has made lots and lots of progress over the past few days! It's now Saturday and she has peed in the toilet consistently for the past three days and even went in a public restroom today!  I'm so proud of my little girl and the progress that she is making. Here is to never going back to diapers!

She's doing great now (it's day 8)! She even initiated going potty in the toilet yesterday and has stayed dried two nights this week.

The potty chart is working it's magic. There are times she'll just sit on the potty to have a treat and a sticker.  She likes to come up to us and say, I did it! and give us a thumbs up.
