Happy Father's Day!

I scream, You scream, We all scream for ICE CREAM... At least that was the song Tim was singing as he opened his Father's Day present (an ice cream maker). He was so excited he made two batches of ice cream within 24 hours of opening his present.

Macy loved helping daddy open his card and present. She's such a big helper and loves to spend lots of time with Tim.

Come What June...

One of the highlights of June so far was when Aunt Ashley came to visit. Sure it was only for a few days but we used our time wisely and accomplished a great deal. We even got matching outfits while she was here. (Dorky... I know, but at least we don't live in the same state.) It was so fun to have her here and I'm glad that she got to spend at least a bit of her summer with us.

Summer Vacation

As soon as school let out my mom and the four littlest one, came up for a visit. Their trip was filled with many fun adventures and Macy loved the fact that there were so many people to play with. She was in heaven.

We hit up the zoo but picked the wrong day. It was $2.00 Tuesday and of course the busiest day of the month. Yet, the kids still had fun. They loved taking turns pushing the stroller. (It was nice to have a little break).

Thursday we took a little trek down to the Discovery Village in Salem and we even found a carousel to ride. It was almost as good as the bubble room and the huge rocking chair that we found.

To eat or not to eat...

Macy loves to eat prunes, sweet potatoes, squash, peaches, and even carrots but...
the one thing that she doesn't like is GREEN BEANS, but then again who really does like them.

Although, she'll eat them if she gets to feed herself. In fact, she'll eat most things by herself in these little feeders. Strawberries are her absolute favorite. She is such a happy bumpkin.

Macy's Toothbrush

Macy is super vane... she could spend all day smiling at herself in the mirror. So, I've gotten into the habit of sitting her in her bumbo chair on the bathroom counter while I get ready in the morning. And this week, while I was brushing my teeth, Macy reached up at me so I thought I'd give her a toothbrush to play. Right away, she began brushing her two little teeth that came in the week before. Needless to say, Tim was ecstatic. They've been brushing their teeth together ever since.

Macy stats at six months

17 lbs 5.8 oz -- 75th percentile
26 3/4 inches long -- 75th to 90th percentile
