Cirque Du Soleil

It was magical. It was sensational. It was... Kooza. Cirque Du Soleil has been in Portland this month and it was the perfect way to celebrate Tim's Birthday. From tight-rope to contorsionists, the show had all of the flare and excitement of a classic circus, but added it's own touch of class and artsyness. Tim and I decided that if each of us were to choose a circus act to be in, I would be the headmaster person and Tim would do this crazy act where two huge circles spin around in the air while he jumps in and around them (it's probably one of those things you have to see to understand). Anyway, the show was amazing; we got home smiling and somehow inspired.

Tim & Tyler's Surprise Party

"My wife is a sweetheart, setting up such an elaborate scheme in the name of Happy Birthday. Thinking I was setting up Tyler for his surprise birthday party I went out for a game of golf and came back to a happy birthday surprise. It included most of my friends, a table full of goodies, two different cakes, and about a hundred birthday stars hung up around the house. She even busted out the cricut for a professional touch. Great Birthday... and it is still a week away." - Tim
Some of the cute kiddos at the party. Macy is such a cheeseball lately. Just look at that grin.

Our great friends and their kiddos who joined us at the party.

Step 1: Examine strawberry.
Step 2: Taste.
Step 3: Devour with happiness.
Step 4: Repeat steps 1 through 3.

Trouble Maker

My grandpa used to call me a Trouble Maker (well he still does most of the time) but I think that the nickname needs to move on to this little angel...
She thinks she is so clever, standing on baskets and chairs to get up into mommy's stuff...
And crawling in her toy box while watching sesame street, not quite the comfyest seat in the house but whatever works...
And lastly this morning while I wasn't looking.... emptying all the towels out of the bathroom cupboard so she can play in it.

Easter

We had a great Easter spent with family! We dyed some great eggs and Macy got to go on her first egg hunt.... The first thing Easter morning Macy headed straight to her easter basket, picked it up, and started finding the plastic eggs hidden around the house. She started the fun and soon the rest of the family was following her. Tim found his Easter basket hidden up in the top of the shop and Tim hid mine in the bottom of the fridge.
After our fun scavenger hunt, we enjoyed some great reminders of Christ during General Conference and Macy enjoyed a nap with grandpa. I can't wait for the April ensign to come out to read the talks again.
It was so great to see the whole family (Ashley and Derek included) and to celebrate Easter!
The whole family ready to eat delicious ham, potatoes, and cheesecake!
My sisters and I had fun doing pedicures during the priesthood session.

Camping With The Jones':

The girlies sleeping in the car on the way out of town. Six o'clock came really early at our house.
After my cake class this week, we headed down to Bruneau, ID to camp at the Sand Dunes. Although, the weather wasn't too cooperative, we had a great time. The snow was a shock and I was glad to be able to sleep in the trailer with my parents. A nice warm bed was fantastic. Macy loved being able to walk around with her cute little monkey(really a leash to keep her with us) and her new best friend is Shiba (our dog who is staying with my parents). She gets so excited with pets and chased Shiba around the whole week laughing.
One of our days was spent in Wendell, ID fishing and hiking the water falls. Tim had a great time lounging around as he fished and even caught a few. :)
Macy even got a kiss from the little fishy!
Macy loves running down the sand dune with daddy. It is so fun to see her grow!

Cake Class Week 4:

This week I learned how to do the Wilton Rose. I thought I'd never get it, but it worked!!!!!! Kaytlen came with this week because Calie was out of town and it was great to see her get right down to work!

Spring Break

Spring Break is always a blast! Although, it is wierd to think about this being our last spring break with Tim as a student. (I still can't believe that he is going to graduate in three months!!!) Kaytlen and Jennifer stayed with us for a few days after Connor's baby blessing and Macy loved having extra friends to play with.

Our first activity was the mall... I found this great story time at the mall (Pottery Barn Kids) that Macy just loves.

Followed by one of our favorite store that we need to enjoy while it's close; COSTCO!!!! Macy just loves the smoothies and stole this one right out of Jennifer's hand.

To finish up our great day, we spent the afternoon at the bowling alley! Macy had a riot clapping for everyone after their turn. Good times!

Connor's Baby Blessing

Mike and Courtney blessed their sweet little boy, Connor Jordan, this past weekend. We had a great time with all of our families in town and are so excited to enjoy watching Connor grow up. Congratulations Courtney and Mike!

Park With Daddy

Macy loves the park and the only thing that she loves more is going to the park with daddy. She is getting so grown up now and loves to be independent. She loves the slide and especially the bridge.
