The Tooth Fairy

"It's the best night I ever had!"  - Macy

After a good month of having a wiggly tooth, Tim was finally able to wiggle the little stinky out and Macy couldn't be happier.  She spent the past month telling everyone that her tooth was loose and it has continued now to show everyone that she lost her first tooth.  It's adorable!

SeaLife Aquarium

With Tim having a few days off during the week lately, we've been trying to entertain the girls in different ways.  This week we took them to the Sea Life Aquarium and they loved it!

Macy loved seeing the puffer fish and Syd loved the seahorses.

The exhibits were great and we love fun ways to educate the girls.
This turtle was gigantic and kept coming up to us and trying to eat our fingers through the glass.
The girls got to explore the tanks through the underwater lookouts.

Chick-fil-a

For cow appreciation day, if you dress up like a cow you get a free combo meal at chick-fil-a. So in true fashion we recruited a few friends and family and took off for free food. Jim, Emily, and Reed joined us for a delicious dinner and some fun moo time.

Trouble

This little trouble maker got a hold of the nail polish off the floor today.

Stitches

It doesn't surprise me at all that Sydo is the first to have stitches in our house.... It has been kind of a crazy day with these three anyway.  Syd left the nail polish out and Kensie started eating it... there may have been a little applesauce sent all over the car... and then to top it off Syd fell off the bed and landed on the dresser, ending up in three stitches in the back of her head.  The best thing of all is that we have one tough cookie.... Syd fell asleep in the car on the way to the doctor's office and was a bit out of it while we talked to the doctor, he checked her out and went to get the treatment room ready.  I am so impressed with our little girl, she laid there and let the doctor irrigate her wound, give her a shot to numb it, and then proceeded to stitch her up.  Go Sydney!

 The prewound.
Three little stitches on the back of her head.

Elsa And Anna

Ever since the movie Frozen came out these two have been singing and dancing to every possible song from the movie.  Let It Go is heard all over our house and car. The only thing better for these girls are Elsa and Anna dress-up capes.

Sleepy Girl

Someone fell asleep eating her dinner.

8 Months

Kensie is our sweetheart. She's a quick learner and is starting to explore on her own.  She's been crawling for almost two months and is now starting to pull herself up to stand at things like the couch.  She has been sleeping better at night but still gets up around 5 most mornings. Let's just say it is a drastic improvement. She loves to laugh and is extremely ticklish.  She has the most adorable curly hair and her eyes tell every story.  She has conquered the baby food and is a good eater at meal times but still loves her bottle more.   She loves to put anything and everything in her mouth especially the other girls food that get dropped on the floor. If things aren't in her mouth, then her tongue is hanging out trying to catch the breeze.  She loves to cuddle and i'm convinced that she is saying mama but it is probably just her babbling.

She's started filling out quite a bit more and now has some fabulous leg rolls.

Summer Movies

We have been entertained all summer with Movies at Harkins Theater.  The girls are having a blast getting to go to the BIG Theater and eating popcorn and hanging with their friends.

Payson Fourth Of July

We had an awesome fourth of July in Payson this year.  We stayed at the cabin for a couple days and drove into Payson on Friday.

We made some delicious smores over the fire and listened to the rain storm.

The  Payson festivities were great.  We were hoping to catch some of the family games but ended up spending some time on the playground, dancing to the live music, and playing on all the blowup toys.

Ever since Macy started gymnastics she has been working on her cartwheel and she is getting really good!

We settled in for some awesome fireworks and entertained the girls while we waited and waited.  When the countdown finally began we started to get excited that the weather was holding out on us and we got to see some awesome fireworks.  9:00 rolled around, then 9:05, and 9:10 and the rains came and down they came.  We stuck it out for almost 45 minutes before bailing to the car.  Drench and cold we loaded up the girls only to hear the sparks of fireworks on the horizon.  Jumping out of the car, a bit disappointed, we enjoyed the great show!

Work on the cabin is part of the fun of spending time at the cabin.  Macy was the best helper in clearing out some leaves and pine needles and wouldn't let us stop until they were all done.  She was convinced that we had to finish all of them.
We finished off our trip with some sling shot paint ball target practice while ended up being a lot messier then expected.  Jim exploded two of the paint balls over him.
