Baby Update

We got another peek at our little one this week but the doctor wasn't able to tell us whether our little one was a boy or a girl.  Hopefully, next visit.  Although, we did get a good look at the silhouette of our little one. 

Memorial Day Cemetery

Tim's grandma, Frankie, started a tradition to visit the cemetery and the graves of their family members on Memorial Day every year.  We went to the cemetery in Moses Lake last year but it was especially neat this year to visit the graves of those in Tim's personal history.  We did our routine a bit backwards this year; starting with donuts at home before we made the trek to the cemetery. 

 Macy and Syd got a little bored quickly but enjoying climbing the trees and laying on top of the grave stones most. 

The Cabin

Macy asks us all the time if we can go to the cabin.  So this past weekend, we went.  The girls had a blast and we got to complete some fun projects. 

 The girls and Tim roasted marshmallows over the fire. 

 Played a little hide and seek through the bars in the stairs. 

 Syd left the water on in the bathroom and we had a little flood. Opps!

 The girls are best friends and spent time taking pictures together on the stairs. 

 Moved the master suitee into another bedroom and changed the master into a bunk room. We tried to put this loft bed over the double bed in the bunk room as well but it was a bit tight.

 Syd found a baby carrier in the closet and carried her fun little baby doll around all day. 

 And the girls finished off their busy productive day by swimming in the creek. 

House Updates: Week #6

The drywall is in!  It looks like a house and on the same day the put in the stucco too!  

We went in a few days later to show grammy and papa the updates form what happened while they were in Charleston.  We tried to tell the girls to be careful as they walked around the yard since there were a little bit of leftover stucco on the ground.... She wasn't careful enough and slipped.  Opps!  She landed on her bum and got stucco concrete all over her clothes.  Luckily the water is hooked up and we rinsed her off and rinsed her clothes and headed her off on her way.  Five minutes later, she slipped in another pile of concrete and fell again landed on her bum in her undies.  It was pretty hilarious!  We rinsed her off again but didn't have anything to put her in.  She ended up going home in Syd's little skirt that was way too small but that's all we had.   

Baby # 3

We're excited for our little adventure added.  Our year is full of changes with moving, a new house, and even more a new baby.  Our little one is due November 11th and will find out in the next few weeks whether we are having a boy or a girl. 

Watermelon Girl

We had dinner at Grandpa & Grandma Peggy's house this past weekend and had our first watermelon of the season. Syd was so excited and ended up eating at least four pieces.  It was mighty delicious. 

Good Friends

Sydney and Ashlynn are the best friends!  They are only a couple of months apart and they love to play together. It's so cute to hear Sydney talk about her little friend Ashlynn. 

Dancer Girl!

Macy came home with her first dance costume this week.  She was super excited! Isn't it fun?  She even has a matching cape.

Puppet Show

Macy was playing on sprout online the other day and found a pattern on how to make a puppet. She was so excited and ended up making two of them. One for her and one for her sister.  That night she put on an awesome little puppet show for us and grammy and papa.  She did a great job putting on a show. 

House Update: Week #5

This week was kind of exciting!  We had a nice walk-through to finalize our framing and then they moved on to installation.   Drywall is going in soon.

Playset

We've talked about fixing up the playset for a while now... ever since the girls started getting slivers in their feet every time they go play outside. It turned into a great four generation project that took all day long.  Good work boys!  It looks great.

Cinco De Mayo

With Sunday being Sarah's farewell party, we celebrated Cinco De Mayo on Monday.  We had some delicious enchiladas and grammy even pulled out a sombero for the girls to wear.  They loved it!

Week 4 -- house updates

Just drove by our house and stopped to check on the inside! The outside is all ready to be stuccoed. The tiles are sitting front of our house waiting to be put on the roof. The bath tubs are in place and all of the heating/cooling and plumbing are done. The electrical guys were there and plan to be done in two days. It's crazy how fast it's coming along!
