25 Days of Thanksgiving - Day 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,15, 16, 17, & !8
Wow! I'm behind. We'll blame it on the fact that we were in Portland last weekend and we are all trying to get caught back up on our sleep.
Day 8: I'm grateful for craigslist. This may sound a little funny but I found the cutest birthday present for Macy today on craigslist. The present is still a surprise but I'm so excited!!!!!!!
Day 9: Naptime, Naptime, Naptime! I feel like I can't get enough sleep with this pregnancy, and it is so nice to have Macy still take a nap and that I can snuggle down and take one too!
Day 10: I'm grateful for little machines called Ultrasounds that make it so that I can find out that we are having a little GIRL in March.
Day 11: I'm grateful for a sister who is so willing to share her house with us. I called her up at the last today and asked if we could come stay and she said YES!!!!
Day 12: I'm grateful for days off that we can spend as a family. It is so fun to be able to do things with my Tim and my Macy. It is a wonderful break from daily life.
Day 13: I'm grateful for old friends. It was so wonderful to see Calie, Anthony, Elliot, Megan, Tyler, Courtney, Mike, and Connor. I'm so glad that we can stay in touch and be such good friends even though we live forever apart.
Day 14: I'm grateful for a good reliable car. We drove home from Portland today and it is a relief to not have to worry about car trouble as we drive.
Day 15: I'm grateful for days that Tim can come home from work early. Today, he was in Quincy and that usually equates to him leaving at 6:00 a.m. and not getting home until 7:00 or 7:30 p.m. (It's an hour drive to the satellite clinic), but today... He finished early and was home by 6:00. After a long day of unpacking and cleaning, it was so nice.
Day 16: I'm grateful for new friends and the fact that I can throw baby showers for them. Moving to a new place is always hard but I'm grateful that I've been able to find some people in similar positions (who are also having babies) and that I can help them out in their times of need.
Day 17: I love teaching Macy new things. Today, she started doing head, shoulders, knees, and toes. We've been working on it for a few weeks now and all of the sudden today she started doing all of the actions by herself.
Day 18: I am so glad to be a mom. I love seeing my little girl ham it up. Today, she would look at me and wave... then blow me kisses. It was adorable!
