Boise

To go with the norm around here, we headed to Boise for a couple weeks to escape the heat.  Of course, as soon as we got to Boise, Macy lost another tooth... all without her dad's help.  We spent our couple of weeks eating lunch at work with papa, floating down the Boise river, visiting with old friends, listening to concerts in the park, and helping papa with all of his catering events. 

Old Friends

We love catching up with the Roa's and love that Calie's sister lives only a few miles from Brit's parents in Boise.  It doesn't happen often that we both end up in the same city but we absolutely love when we do.  These kids are awesome friends and can't believe how far they've come. Macy and Elliot used to take naps together and do basically everything together and now they're in first grade and growing up so fast. Syd and Digby got along amazingly considering they hardly know each other.  They kept asking to keep playing.  It was fantastic.  Some of our favorite people and we're so happy that our kids love each other too!  We miss the Roa's and can't wait for our next family vacation together. 

SunSplash

With our pogo passes we get a free trip to SunSplash. The girls have been asking for weeks to be able to go and it didn't disappoint. Macy is a champ on the watersides and even Tim was excited to try the new drop out water slide. Syd was definitely more content to ride the lazy river and play in the splash pad.

Chick-Fil-A

Nothing like free chick-fil-a for dressing like a cow.  We love Chick-Fil-A and all they stand for.  They have amazing customer service, and great food.  Tim's favorite thing about Chick-Fil-A is their answer to Thank You!  Their answer is always My Pleasure with a smile on their face.  There is nothing they wouldn't do for you.  Love it!

Prescott Rodeo

We spent the weekend at the cabin with our dear friends, The Binghams.  The kids had a blast fishing at the catch a trout farm and in the creek (unsuccessfully), hiking, and swinging on the hammock. We finished up our 4th with a trip to Prescott for the rodeo and carnival. The kids rode carnival rides and got their faces painted before we headed over to the rodeo. Definitely a fun treat and no better way to celebrate our country than listening to country music and watching some fantastic roping and bull riding followed by ice cream and fireworks.
