Football Shirt

What can we say... we raise our kids well... Macy had to support  BYU in the game against BSU last week! (Too bad both teams played so poorly) I pulled out her BYU shirt she got from Aunt Kaytlen last christmas and she kept telling us that she had to play football because she was wearing her football shirt.

Lunch Time

Just a regular day off with the family. We spent the day running errands and ended up at Dody's downtown for lunch. I love spending time with my favorite people!

LOVE is a four letter word.

Tim surprised me with tickets to Jason Mraz for our seventh anniversary.  When we first moved to Moses Lake, we went to Jack Johnson in the Gorge and what a good way to finish off our last few months here.

We left the kids with Jade for the night and headed out for a kidless (Tim would like to think more adventurous than normal) night on the town.  The smoke made for a cloudy view of the gorge but it was still beautiful.

Jason Mraz was amazing.  I think we first heard Jason Mraz from Tim's sister, Becca, a few years ago and have loved it since.  It was amazing. He even did a little rendition from our childhood days of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood.

I love this handsome fella even more today than when we got married seven years ago. (I still can't believe it's been seven years and we have two beautiful little girls now).  Thanks for the wonderful years and here to many more! Love ya T!

Peaches

Macy and I were feeling pretty domestic yesterday. We got a lot of delicious peaches from our friend and got busy canning peaches. Delicious peaches year round!

First Day Of Preschool

Excitement and anticipation have been in our house the last few days as Macy has patiently (or not so patiently) waited for her first day of preschool!  She woke up bright and early this morning so excited for her first day.

She laid out her clothes last night and had her backpack ready to go.  She was too excited to even eat breakfast.  I am so impressed with how excited she is!  We got in the car and she jabbered non-stop all the way to school.  She told me that her school was too far away to walk and I would have to take her.  (So smart!)  When we got to school, she was so excited she could hardly wait for me to get Syd out of the car before she was heading up the steps to school.  There was definitely no hesitation from her!  (This is amazing! We have struggled to get her to go to sunbeams and to stay at friend's house... so this transformation is absolutely stunning!)  Heading into her classroom, she hung up her backpack on the hook, gave me a hug and a kiss, and took off.  She is so excited!  (and believe me, so am I)

My pretty three year old. I can't believe how big she is getting!
Ready to go and super excited!
Syd was okay with all of this until she found out that she had to stay home with mom.
then we had all sorts of tears on the way home.

Labor Day Bash

We can't enjoy labor day without a little BBQ Bash with our buddies.  Tim grilled us up some delicious burgers and dogs and set up some awesome minute to win it games.  It was an awesome way to say goodbye to yet another Elder.

Macy and Alayna. Macy really missed her friends while we were gone in August. She was really excited to have them come play.
Karsyn, Jack, Max, Avery, Alayna, and Macy.
Callen had a blast stuffing his shirt with all of the tissue from the game.
Syd... This kid always looks like a little rag muffin.  She got into the oreos.
Macy and Alayna being elephants and trying to knock over the cups with the ball hooked to their head.
 Success!
Elder Simon doing junk in the trunk against Elder W.
Good times with the Perez, Lang, Bisnett,  and Hord families.... plus the Elders.
