Tim had a decent amount of time off for Thanksgiving and we decided to make the most of it by spending some time with the Jones' in Boise. Ashley flew down the weekend before to spend a couple days with us and to help Brittany drive the 14+ hours. We took off Sunday after Sarah's homecoming talk and ended up staying the night in the middle of nowhere. It ended up being almost 18 hours of driving.
Within minutes of getting to Boise Macy and Sydney put on snow clothes and played in the little bit of snow that was left. Macy even built a little snowman and was so proud of herself.
He was a pretty darn cute snowman.
We spent some good times in the nice weather playing outside and Syd convinced Papa to take her on a ride on the four-wheeler in the backyard.
We watched Madison dance at Festival of Trees and got to see Santa.
We partied with the extended Jones Family and the girls were very excited to be able to see Hunter again. Syd asks about Hunter occasionally ever since they moved to Rexburg in August. They were pretty excited to play and party. They even turned into the same rumbustious crowd and flipped the bounce house up on end.
We celebrated Macy's birthday a few days early with the family. I always feel like she gets a little gypped with her birthday around the Holidays so she celebrated twice.
Overall, we had a great Thanksgiving in Boise (in the warm weather) but that drive is horrendous. We left very early Sunday morning to drive home and drove until after bedtime. Thank goodness for good weather and airplane flights.

Castles and Coasters/Ashley
We had such a Blast with Ashley this week. She is such a stud of a sister. Always grateful, helpful, thoughtful, and always fun to talk to. We had some deep chats about her man (she will be graduating next month and needing to figure out how serious things are gonna be). Anyway, one highlight we shared was a visit to Castles and Coasters in Phoenix. The girls talk about it all the time. Ashley is so good with the girls and is such a peacekeeper... I hope her life turns out just peachily :-).

Happy Birthday Kensie Girl!
Happy 1st Birthday to our Sweet Kensie Girl!
Kensie is our happy kid. She is always full of smiles and love. She is super snuggly and cuddly and has perfected the speedy crawl and walking as long as she can hold on to something or push something. She has no interest in walking by herself or standing up either. She sleeps through the night and still takes at least one good nap a day. She is definitely the one kid that is happy just on the go with mom. Kensie is weighing in at 22 lbs and is in the 99th percentile for height. She loves to eat blueberries and basically anything that she can get her hands on. She loves her bottle even more now that she is drinking milk and we are going to have a super hard time getting rid of it. She hates pacifiers and is a champ for putting up with Sydney all day long. She loves Macy and is always excited when Macy and Daddy come home. She has the curliest mop of hair and gets compliments on it every day of her life. (It's beautiful!)
